How do I gain access to price lists and parts catalogs?

Although Parts Now! engages mainly in business-to-business sales, we do offer everyone the opportunity to purchase inkjet printers, inkjet printer parts and supplies—from major printer manufacturers HP, Lexmark, and Canon—directly from us. You can access these items, complete with pricing and availability, by visiting our Shop Now! section.

By obtaining a password, businesses can gain access to the rest of our catalog, which includes HP, Lexmark and Canon laser printers, parts and accessories, and Oki printer parts. We do, however, accept domestic and international orders on our toll-free sales line at (800) 886-6688 or +1 608-203-1500. If you would like to sign up to receive a password, click here.

How do I order parts?

Once you have received your password, you may order parts online. Otherwise, parts can be ordered by calling our toll-free sales line at (800) 886-6688 or +1 608-203-1500. All orders placed Monday - Friday between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. CST (6:00 p.m. via our website) are shipped same day.

What do the numbers and letters at the end of the Parts Now! part numbers mean?

In addition to carrying a wide range of parts, Parts Now! offers variety when it comes to purchasing options. These options are denoted by the suffix (the last couple of letters or numbers) of the part number. The following is a list of the suffixes you may come across and what they mean:

-000 New OEM* part
-000B or -B Refurbished part
-OEM-B Refurbished part that uses OEM* rollers
-AB New part that requires a core return
-BB Refurbished part that requires a core return
-OEM-BB Refurbished part that uses OEM* rollers and requires a core return
-PNO A kit that contains genuine OEM* parts and is assembled and packaged by Parts Now!
-PN Denotes a new aftermarket part (the PN suffix also denotes kits that contain aftermarket parts and are assembled and packaged by Parts Now!)

*OEM refers to a part direct from the printer manufacturer (i.e. HP, Lexmark, Canon, etc.)

How long is the warranty on parts I buy from Parts Now!?

Our parts carry with them varying warranty periods. Some parts carry a full one year warranty, while most parts carry our standard 6-month warranty. Most printers have a 90-day warranty. You can view the various types of parts sold by Parts Now! and their warranty periods here.

I purchase parts on exchange--how long do I have to return my core to Parts Now!?

All cores are due to Parts Now! 30 days after the purchase of the exchange part.

I would like to be reminded when my exchange cores are due--is that possible?

We at Parts Now! would like you to get your cores in on time just as much as you do. That's why we have instituted an automated system that sends email reminders to you at 20 days and 5 days before your core is due. You can turn on this RMA email reminder by letting your account representative know you are interested. If you have an online account with us, you may also check the status of all your cores in the RMA Status section of the Shop Now! website.

I need to return a core to Parts Now!, but I have misplaced my return label. Where can I get another one?

If you have misplaced your RMA return label, you can obtain one online if you have signed up for an online account with us.

If you do not have an online account, you can sign up for one here. Please allow 1-2 business days to process your request for access.

If you already have an online account, log in here and click on the RMA Status section. Use our search fields to find the RMA or invoice your part is associated with, and click on that record to open a detailed view. In the detailed view, click on the 'Print RMA Label' button, print out the label, and affix it to your box.

I was billed a core charge with my order of an exchange part. Is there a way I can avoid this?

If you purchase an exchange part from Parts Now!, a core charge will be applied to your order. Once you return your core to Parts Now!, the core charge is credited to you.

To avoid this charge, you can either sign up for net terms with Parts Now!, or fill out a core credit authorization form. Click here for a .pdf version of this form that you can print out.

How late can I place an order?

All orders placed between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. (6:00 p.m. via our website) CST are shipped same day. Orders placed after 7 p.m. (6:00 p.m. via our website) will ship the following business day.

Can I see the tracking number for my order online?

If you have setup an online account with us, you can simply log in to your account, click on the Order History section, and run a search for the invoice you would like to find a tracking number for. Click on the invoice number to open up a detailed view, and then click on the tracking number at the bottom of the detailed view screen. You will be automatically routed to the website of the carrier your order was shipped with and a detailed description of your order's shipping route.

Will I get a confirmation that my order on the Parts Now! website was placed?

We will send you an email confirming each web order you place. This email will be sent to the email address you use as your login.

Can I look at my past order history?

Order History can be accessed by logging in to the Shop Now! site and clicking on the Order History link. This section contains a six month history of all orders you have placed with Parts Now!.

What does it mean if I buy a part on exchange?

On certain parts, Parts Now! offers a discounted price if you send your old part (also called a core) to us. The part must be repairable. You have 30 days to send the core to us, or you will charged an additional fee, called a core charge. New parts that are available for purchase on exchange have part numbers that end with -AB, while used parts end with -BB.

To purchase parts on exchange, you must set up terms with us or have a core credit authorization on file. I don't know the part number of the part I am looking for. How can I find it?

To find part numbers of common parts, you can use the Parts Now! Quick Reference Product & Service Guide (QRG). The QRG contains commonly replaced parts for HP & Lexmark laser printers, but does not contain an exhaustive list.

Does Parts Now! offer the ability to drop ship or blind ship my order?

Parts Now! does have the ability to drop ship parts to your customers. Orders that are drop shipped will be sent right from Parts Now! to your customer. If you would like your order blind shipped, in addition to being sent right to your customer, it will contain no pricing information or anything that denotes the order originated from Parts Now!.

To drop or blind ship your order, simply let your Parts Now! account representative know when you place your order. If you order online, choose "Yes" in the Blind Ship field (on the Shipping Information screen) to make the order a blind ship. You may also drop ship to anywhere, as you have the ability to change the shipping address of the order manually on the Shipping Information screen.

How can I apply for net 30 terms to purchase from Parts Now!?

If you would like to apply for terms with Parts Now!, please contact your account representative at (800) 886-6688. Being approved for terms with Parts Now! will give you the ability to purchase parts on account. If you have terms, you will also not be charged an upfront core charge when purchasing parts on exchange.

Parts Now! is always looking to purchase old printers, as long as they are in working condition or repairable. If you have a printer you would like to sell, either send our purchasing department a fax at (608) 203-1476 or email them at cores@partsnow.com.

Do you have a list of used parts that you purchase?

Due to the volume of used parts we purchase, fluctuating stock levels, and pricing, we cannot keep an up-to-date list of the parts we would like to purchase. If you have used parts for sale, please submit a fax to (608) 203-1476 or send an e-mail to cores@partsnow.com that includes part numbers, descriptions, and quantities of the parts you would like to sell. A Parts Now! purchasing agent will respond to you if we are interested in purchasing any of the parts on your list.

Are there any prerequisites for your courses?

There are no prerequisites for courses covering monochrome laser printers. A previous monochrome course is the prerequisite for taking a color laser printer course.

Do I need to bring anything to class?

Please bring service manuals (and user manual for Optra S classes) for the printers you will be working on, paper and pencil, and your tools if desired (though tools will be provided by Parts Now!). Dress is business casual.
